I am registered with the Architects Registration Board of the United Kingdom, a member of the National Association of Norwegian
Architects and an alumni of the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. I have over two decades of professional
experience having in five countries on three continents.
I have developed a thorough understanding of the construction industry and both technical and contractual expertise from working on a
great variety of building projects including high profile buildings in the City of London and large scale infrastructure projects, as well as
smaller bespoke buildings and structures.
I believe that architects have a responsibility to create spaces that improve quality of life, transform inefficiency and to beautify through
simple, considered methodology. I enjoy the collaborative processes involved in the production of buildings and understand how these
structures fit into the larger infrastructural context and I am sensitive to the impact of construction on our environment.
I appreciate the splendour of the natural world and its myriad expressions of colour and texture. I am a secular humanist and an epicure
with interests that include science and philosophy. I live with my wife, also an architect, and our three children in Norway, where we
enjoy a healthy, holistic lifestyle.
